La Colecta:
Omnipotente Dios, que en tu amor diste a tu siervo Nicolás de Mira un nombre perpetuo por las obras de bondad que realizó tanto en la tierra como en el mar, concede que tu Iglesia no cese nunca de trabajar por la felicidad de los niños, la seguridad de los marineros, el alivio de los pobres y, el bienestar de los arrojados por las tempestades de la duda o la aflicción; por Jesucristo nuestro Señor, que vive y reina contigo y el Espíritu Santo, un solo Dios, por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
